I know, I know, really lame to post quiz results for my second-ever post. However, I did think this was a particularly fun and enlightening quiz, so hurry up and take it already and let’s compare results. I’m pleased (though not surprised) that I match up with Augustine and not Jonathan Edwards. Where do you fall theologically? (And check back for a public service announcement later this morning!)

You scored as AugustineYou have a big view of God and also take human sin and depravity very seriously. Predestination is important for you.

I seem to be pretty schizophrenic in my theology:
Anselm 100%
John Calvin 80%
Karl Barth 67%
Friedrich Schleiermacher 53%
Charles Finney 47%
Jürgen Moltmann 47%
Jonathan Edwards 47%
Martin Luther 40%
Paul Tillich 40%
Augustine 33%
I came up as John Calvin. Not sure how I feel about that. Anselm was next, then Martin Luther. Hmmmm…
hmm, well, here’s mine…
Anselm
93%
John Calvin
80%
Karl Barth
73%
Augustine
60%
Friedrich Schleiermacher
60%
Martin Luther
53%
Jürgen Moltmann
40%
Paul Tillich
33%
Charles Finney
33%
Jonathan Edwards
33%
I’m Augustine/Möltmann. Yay! But closely followed by Calvin … weird.
It says I’m Paul Tillich, but lists my score for Tillich and Luther as being identical:
Paul Tillich 67%
Martin Luther 67%
Karl Barth 47%
Charles Finney 33%
Augustine 33%
John Calvin 33%
I love the description of Tillich:
“Paul Tillich sought to express Christian truth in an existentialist way. Our primary problem is alienation from the ground of our being, so that our life is meaningless. Great for psychotherapy, but no longer very influential.”
Sounds right to me. Good job test.
Thanks Sarah!
